CBSE Class 12 results

The class 12 exam results of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) was announced today, the 21st May 2016. About 1,065,179 had registered for the board exam this year. According to a notification issued by the CBSE, the pass percent this year is 83.05 as compared to 82 last year.
The highest pass percent in the country is 97.61 percent in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. This is for the second consecutive time that the Central Board of Secondary Education has announced results of ten regions on the same day.
There were notifications that girls have performed better than boys. The pass percent of girls was 88.58 whereas the same with boys was 78.85. To note, the 12th exams for CBSE students began on 1st March 2016 and ended on 22nd April.

The results were scheduled to be announced at 12 noon, but it was declared sooner at 10.45 am.
