Scheme for Scholarships to Young Artistes in Different Cultural Fields

Ministry of Culture will be giving scholarship to 400 young artistes of outstanding promise for advanced training within India in the field of Indian Classical Music, Indian Classical Dance, Theatre, Mime, Visual art, Folk, Traditional and Indigenous Arts and Light Classical Music.
The candidate should have undergone a minimum of 5 years training with their Guru/Institutes. The candidate`s age should not be less than 18 years and not more than 25 years as on 1st April of the year in which the application is being made. Candidates should apply online through www.ccrtindia.gov.in. More details can be had in this website.
