Ajith joins Rs 100 Crore Club

Vedhalam is the recently released film which had Ajith in the lead role. Shruthi Haasan, Lakshmi Menon and Soori have donned important roles. Siruthai Siva have directed the film. Vedalam has turned out to be Tamil cinema`s biggest hit of 2016. The film holds the record of highest opening day collection taking down Vijay-starrer Kaththi. Vedalam poured in about Rs 15.3 crore on its opening day and took over the-biggest-opener tag from Vijay`s Kaththi, which earned about Rs 14.3 Crores on its first day.
