Heavy traffic jam between Koyambedu & Vadapalani in Chennai

There was a very heavy traffic jam between Koyambedu & Vadapalani in Chennai today.
It is explained that with heavy rains in the morning and several buses taking off from Koyambedu bus terminus at small intervals and the Deepavali festival buying spree, the traffic jam would have built-up.
However, this heavy traffic jam caused the public and the office-goers were put to great hardship.
