A job-opportunities website organized a research establishes India placed 7th in the list of countries that pay the lowest salaries to Information Technology (IT) employees.
IT managers in India get an average annual salary of Rs.2703570/-.
The main reason cited for the lower level of salaries is the abundance of skilled employees available for IT jobs.
Bulgaria occupies the 1st place in this list.
Vietnam & Thailand occupy the 2nd & 3rd places.
Indonesia & Philippines jointly occupy the 4th place.
India comes in the next place followed by China, Czech Republic, and Argentina.
Switzerland is the No. 1 country paying the highest salary for IT employees. Switzerland pays salaries that are 4 times more than what India pays.
Belgium occupies the 2nd position in this list.
Denmark is in the 3rd position. USA & England are in the 4th & 5th positions
