‘The first impression is the best impression’. Whoever said that was no blithering fool. Its true and you know it! So how do you make a good first impression? Here are a two ways how.
CONFIDENCE: Research has shown that the more apprehensive a person is about a meeting, the more it shows in his/ her body language. Be confident in yourself. Prepare beforehand and come to the meeting with information. Do your homework, and the confidence will ooze out of you.
WARMTH: The adage ‘be yourself’ is all very good. But what is more appropriate for a first meeting is ‘put your best foot forward’. Studies have proven that showing people the good side is no different from showing them your best side. Smile and you will radiate warmth.
