Price of non-subsidised cooking gas cylinder down by Rs. 5/-!

Though there has been a recent increase in the prices of petrol & diesel, the price of the non-subsidised cooking gas cylinders have reduced by Rs. 5/-.
Oil Corporations have announced that the non-subsidised cylinder (14.2 kg) sold in the open-market is reduced by Rs. 5/-.
It is worth noting that the price of the non-subsidised cooking gas cylinder was increased by Rs. 5/- during March & by Rs. 11/- during April. Now, a reduction Rs. 5/- has been announced. This will vary depending on the local taxes.
In Chennai, the prices is reduced by Rs. 5.50 and sold at Rs. 608.50.
Meanwhile, the price of aviation fuel is up by Rs. 272/- per litre. However, the airline companies have not come up with any information so far on whether this will lead to increase in flight fares!
