Simbhu to clash with Karthi

After Madras, Karthi is donning the lead role in the film titled Komban. Lakshmi Menon is pairing with Karthi. Raj Kiran is donning an important role. Others in the cast are Kovai Sarala, Karunaas and Thambi Ramaiah. Muthaiah who had earlier directed Kutty Puli is directing the film.
After Paruthiveeran, Karthi is donning the role of a villager. G V Prakash Kumar has composed the music. It was initially announced that Komban will be released for Pongal. Then it was decided to release it on 2nd April. On the same day the films Kamal Haasan starrer Uthama Villain and Udhayanidhi starrer Nanbenda are being released. Now it has been announced that Komban will be released on 27th March. It is significant to note that Simbhu starrer Vaalu is also being released on the same day.
