Rainfall likely in Tamil Nadu due to depression!

Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed a depression has formed over Tamil Nadu region and hence there may be scattered rainfall.
The season of North-east monsoon is over in Tamil Nadu. It was followed by cold weather & snowfall. Very chilly nights were experienced during this period.
It is rather cloudy in Chennai and its suburbs today. The chillness had subsided. There was some light rain at Central & Egmore in Chennai city.
Chennai Meteorological centre explained that a depression has formed in the region near Andaman. It has now centred around South Andaman & South Bay of Bengal. There is a higher air-circulation observed in the Kumari Ocean area.Because of these 2 reasons, there may be rains in some places in Tamil Nadu on Saturday (24th January).
