Facebook’s new milestone – ‘Rooms’

Here is a new launch from the social networking giant Facebook. It released a mobile application today by name ‘Rooms’. This allows users to chat as they wish in any name they wish. Facebook made its launch wanting to bring peace among people who are unhappy about the mandatory identities required in social networking profiles. The application is currently available only in iPhone for US and Britain customers. According to a blog post done by Facebook’s Creative Labs, internet allows users to be whoever they want to be and that is what the giant loves about it. The post added that ‘Rooms’ will lets anybody get tagged ‘Wonder Woman’ or any other name as per their wish and feel proud and comfortable.
Forums, message boards or chat rooms have some social element in common among its users, but not any geographic coherence among them, says creative labs. The application allows sharing photos, videos, and text messages related to a specific topic of the conversation made. Those who intend to create rooms can give only invitations to others or post the room link in public for others to join.
