Hunger strike by cine stars for Jayalalitha

As a sign of support, people belonging to the entire Tamil cinema industry are engaged in a hunger strike here in Chennai. The Bangalore Special court convicted Jayalalitha in the disproportionate assets case and charged her 4 years imprisonment. This has given rise to shocking vibes throughout the nation. Protests broke over the issue from all corners.
Now, as a sign of showing their support, the entire Tamil cinema industry is engaged in a silent hunger strike for the whole day today. This is held opposite to Chepauk guest house. Stages are set up here for the cine personalities to take part.
They also have banners showcasing slogans of protest. The strike begun at 8 am today. They believe for Jayalalitha to get justice and come back as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. The entire populations of all cinema personalities wish the same.
