AICTE NORMS SHOULD RULE:COURT
The
Justice V. Dhanapalan said while disposing of the petitions that the
college can opt for new regulations, which will be applicable only from 2011.
He upheld the AICTE [Grant of Approval for technical education], regulation
2010, and striking down the one clause 11.1
which contemplated civil and criminal action against institutions, which he
held was ultra wires of the AICTE act 1987 and with out authority of law.
