Disruption in water supply

Water supply to some areas in north Chennai will be hit on August 4 as the Minjur desalination plant will be shut for repair work. The plant, which produces 100 million litres of water every day, will undergo maintenance from 10am to 6pm. Areas like Madhavaram, Manali, Tiruvottiyur, Kathivakkam, Patel Nagar and Vyasarpadi will be hit. Production will resume at 10pm.
