S M KRISHNA ON RAJAJI’S CONTRIBUTION TO ETHICS IN POLITICS

The Union External Minister S M Krishna was delivering Rajaji memorial lecture organized by Rajaji Foundation commemorating the 131^st birth day of Rajaji. S M Krishna paying rich tributes to Rajaji said that India fought colonialism on the basis of equality, justice to everyone and the truth. In that politics and ethics were intertwined and complemented each other. He explained that Rajaji’s contribution was very significant. According to SM Krishna that Rajiaji was for modern education was not only for achieving economic and social liberation but also for creation of sense citizenship and empowerment of people. S M Krishna said that the Midday meal scheme where  children of all castes eat together typically reflected Rajaji’s  vision.
