March 22 is universally celebrated as the ‘World Water Day’. Let us make this day special by knowing few simple and easy steps to save water and take an oath to protect the water resource of our heavenly earth.
  • All ladies busy all the day in kitchen, listen to this. Why don’t you wash your vegetables in a bowl of water rather than washing them in running water from the tap? Give it a try and you’ll literally find more water stocked at your place
  • Simple day-to-day activities have got lot of impact on the healthy growth of our universe. Consider filling a bucket with water and begin with your daily brushing and face wash instead of leaving the tap open all through the course of your brushing time.
  • Though a chill shower can rejuvenate your mind and body, try taking mugs of water and enjoy the same, as it can help in saving more water.
  • Take care of proper functioning of flush in your toilet
  • Reduce the water usage in the flush in western toilets
  • Use washing machines in full mode. Avoid the use of the machine for washing just one or two clothes. This, in addition to saving water, helps on saving the detergent you use too.
  • Reduce the level of water flow from each one of the water pipe you have at home.
  • Noticed any leakage in pipe? Please don procrastinate to get it repaired. Make a call to a plumber and get the work done or do it by yourself if you’ve the expertise, because every drop counts.
  • Keep all the valves closed when you are not in need of water
  • Collect the water you use to mop the floor, wash clothes, vessels, etc and use it for gardening purposes.
  • Water the plants or trees only during early hours in the morning and night times when it not too sunny.
