Prospects of heavy rains in coastal districts
Because of the cyclonic formation in the upper layers of the atmosphere developed over the Bay of Bengal, it rained in several places. It rained in a few places in the northern districts as well.

The Chennai Meteorological Centre has estimated that there are no prospects for any heavy rain for a week. The southwest monsoon rainy season, which was rapidly active this year.

Weather Forecast for the week in India from August 20 to August 26
Heavy to very heavy rains are expected in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh on August 20 and August 21. Scattered rains will occur over Coastal Karnataka as well. Tamil Nadu will remain dry.
