Prospects of rains with cyclonic winds today (6th July) in Tamil Nadu

Rain in Coastal Andhra, North Tamil Nadu, Chennai for next 24 hours
Presently,the axis of Monsoon trough has shifted northwards to its normal position. Moreover; there was no significant Monsoon system. Thus, the Monsoon surge remained weak over the west and central and pockets of South India.

Weather Forecast for the week in India from July 3 to July 8
Light to moderate rains are expect over Coastal Karnataka. From July 5 to July 8 we expect rains to commence over Kerala as well and intensity will increase over Coastal Karnataka during this period. From July 6 to July 8.
