Pre Monsoon rain in Tamil Nadu, Kerala to continue for 24 hours
As predicted by Skymet Weather, Kerala and Tamil Nadu witnessed light to moderate rain in few parts. In the last 24 hours, from 8:30 am on Friday, Kodaikanal recorded rain to the tune of 17 mm.

Chennai battles hot and sultry weather as mercury soars to 37.6 degrees
Hot and sultry weather has gripped Chennai quite hard. On Thursday, the city recorded maximum temperature at whopping 37.6 degrees, which is not only the highest of the season but is also the second highest maximum in last decade.
