Do not be anxious on the Red Alert - Tamil Nadu Weatherman
The news has poured in that the Indian Weather Bureau has issued a Red Alert warning to Tamil Nadu on 7th October. This is an only general warning. Unlike as it was done for Kerala, this Red Alert is not for a specific state.

Heavy rains to persist - Chennai Meteorological Centre
As there are 2 low-pressure zones forming simultaneously in the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea, the Chennai Meteorological Centre has informed that the heavy rains will persist in Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
