Film shooting in Chennai Metro Rail permitted
Now film shooting can take place in Metro Rail coaches. The rental fees have been fixed at Rs 4 Lakhs per hour.

Metro rail service to get extended till St. Thomas Mount in Sept
Plans are on to set up metro rail services in two routes: first route covering 23.05 km distance between Vannarapettai and Chennai Airport, and second route covering 22.50 km covering Chennai Central and St. Thomas Mount.
