We already know that starting from Friday, 25th May 2018 the public would be able to travel from Chennai Central to airport directly by metro train.

Inauguration of Two Underground Metro stretches tomorrow
Two Underground stretches of Chennai Metro rail are to be inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Edappadi K.Palaniswami along with the Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs, Hardeep Singh Puri.

Soon 2 important metro lines plus 4 stations would be launched for the public in Chennai
To provide the connectivity to Chennai Central, this Friday, 2 key metro lines from Chennai Central to Shenoy Nagar, AG-DMS to Little Mount via Saidapet and four stations would be launched for the sake of the public.
