RDSO carries out test to give fitness certificates for Chennai Metro trains
All the trains run in India should get the fitness from The Research Design and Standards Organization which comes under the Ministry of Railways.

Chennai Metro Rail � 12 coaches arrived: New test-run on 800 metres track!
Chennai Metro Rail Project will have 42 coaches. It was planned that 9 coaches will be manufactured by the company, Alstom, in Brazil, and shipped to Chennai.

Metro Rail to be extended to Tiruvottiyur
In a memorandum submitted to PM Modi, Ms Jayalalithaa said the extension of corridor-I of Metro Rail Project up to Tiruvottiyur and Wimco Nagar covering a distance of 9.051 km .
