Innovative method to treat heart disease

Scientists from various parts of the world including one from India have, together, developed a new way of using heart cells. According to this technique, cells from heart patients can be used to create heart muscle cells that can be used for personalized treatment procedures for their abnormalities in heart.
Researchers have proved this with the help of scar forming cells from mice. These cells were taken and new beating muscles were developed. This was done by injecting three different genes into animals.
