There is a popular saying “Prevention is always better than cure!”.

This saying is apt and applies best to our physical health!

We may think we are healthy on a given day – but we don’t know the changes happening in our bodies! As such, anything serious is likely to happen at any moment!

HENCE, IT IS BEST ADVISED TO HAVE REGULAR PHYSICAL CHECK-UPS!

Our heart does the vital function of blood circulation throughout the body! Heart complaints are common and can occur to any individual!  Heart problem occurs for any age group mainly due to our present lifestyle and eating habits! As such, it can be easily avoided! But this requires a healthy food intake and regular physical exercise!

As a parallel, one should give up smoking, drinking, and other health-harming habits!

Regular checking of heart condition is very essential!

Once a person crosses 30 years of age, the prospects for a heart complaint increase! So, the persons in this age group 30-35 must have physical check-ups once a year!

If pain or pressure is felt in the heart or numbness in the body or pain in the hands/legs, difficulty in speaking, or hazy eyesight, etc., occur, ONE MUS IMMEDIATELY SEEK MEDICAL HELP/CHECK!

The symptoms mentioned above may all be the result of a heart problem!

Any harm in the heart function will not be known immediately! Only by having a check, one can identify it! Tests such as ECG (Electro Cardiogram), Echo Cardiogram, etc., will identify any harmful change in the heart!

A CT scan or computed tomography scan (formerly known as computed axial tomography or CAT scan) is a medical imaging technique used in radiology to get detailed images of the body noninvasively for diagnostic purposes. CT scan is better to identify the extent of fat deposited in the blood veins- it is better the Echo Cardiogram!

Even when the fat deposit is very thin, a CT scan helps accurately when the heart problem is likely to occur due to this!
