Some simple tips to check low blood pressure!

Know that Low blood pressure is as harmful as high blood pressure!

  • The blood pressure in our body should be 120/80 mm Hg.
  • When the heart expands, blood gets sprayed over to the heart from the lungs and other parts of the human body! During this, the blood pressure should be 80 mmHg. When this is below 80 mm Hg, it is low blood pressure.
  • If the blood pressure registers from 90/60 mm Hg to 120/80 mm Hg, the citizen has a low blood pressure complaint!
  • If the blood is not circulated at the right pressure, sufficient quantities of blood may not reach these parts of the body. This is harmful to the healthy functioning of the body and may damage some of the organs.
  • The symptoms of suffering from low blood pressure are – giddiness, fatigue, nausea, vomitting, numbness, and loss of eyesight,
  • Citizens who observe fasting for long periods (taking no food as a form of penance) may suffer from low blood pressure. So, avoid LONG GAPS BETWEEN us @ SUCCESSIVE MEALS! However, do not indulge in taking excessive food for this sake! Take a properly balanced diet! This would help control and check the blood pressure.
  • Note that NOT DRINKING THE REQUIRED QUANTUM OF WATER MAY ALSO LEAD TO LOW BP! SO, ENSURE DRINKING 2 TO 2.5 LITRES OF WATER EVERY DAY!
  • Doctors recommend the high blood pressure patients reduce the quantum of salt! However, for the patients with low blood pressure, it is the reveres – they need to take some little excess of salt! Why? This would increase blood pressure!
  • In case unable to eat food, take some coffee! This would also help increase blood pressure! The chemical ‘caffeine’ in the coffee will help enhance the blood pressure for some time temporarily.-
  • However, ensure during the summer season that excess coffee is avoided! Excess coffee drinking leads to dehydration! So, please stop utmost with 2 to 3 cups of coffee!
