Watch out for these signs of low BP and eat these if you have low BP

Many of us would be familiar with hypertension or high blood pressure or high BP, but how many of us know what a hypotension is?

Hypotension or low blood pressure or low BP occurs in many persons and these persons have blood pressure less than 90/60. Here, 90 refer to pressure in the arteries when the heartbeat is less than 90millilitres of mercury and in the same manner 60 refer to the pressure in the arteries when the heartbeat is less than 60 millilitres of mercury. It is worthy to note that abnormally low BP could lead to many issues in a person.

Various signs of having low blood pressure or low BP are

Nausea:
Low BP in person is shown by nausea issues where the person would have a tendency to vomit. There might be some discomfort in the stomach that could result in nausea.

Presence of fatigue:
It is revealed that when a person feels tired frequently and feels low on energy then he or she is said to have fatigue issues. These persons might feel the need to sleep in between the activities.

Presence of dizziness:
Truth is that when a person has dizziness then it might be due to low blood pressure. These persons might feel dizzy as soon as they get up or while walking etc. Here, the persons with dizziness would feel as if everything is spinning around them.

Depression:
Drop in the blood pressure levels or low BP is also indicted by depression. The person would feel sad for no particular reason and he or she might lose interest in anything around.

Blurred vision:
Sometimes, persons might be unable to focus on things around them and won’t be able to see finer details clearly. These persons might have low BP in them. So, please check.

Various foods to eat when a person has low BP are

Salty foods intake:
It is brought out that by eating high salty foods then the low pressure can be increased to normal. A person could consume cottage cheese, tuna, canned soups etc. It is also possible to increase the BP by adding table salt to the food.

Fluids intake:
This is very important for those who have low BP.  Truth is dehydration causes the BP to decrease. It is believed that every day we must consume atleast 2 litres of water.

Having caffeinated drinks:
By dririnking coffee or tea having caffeine, it is possible to raise the BP in a person. This would be just for a short term.

By the intake of vitamin B12:
It is clear that lack of vitamin B12 could lead to anaemia and finally in reduction in the blood pressure in a person. Therefore, it is important to have vitamin B12 without fail.
