Some steps to prevent heart attack

Here are some steps to prevent heart attack.
  • Stop smoking permanently. Also, avoid passive smoking ( inhaling when others smoke ).
  • Good balanced diet is a ‘must’. If food is taken like medicine, it will avoid a stage when medicine needs to be taken as food!
  • Food items with less fat, less salt and less oil, mostly fruits and vegetables are healthy.
  • Egg without yolk, boiled fish, and skin-removed chicken can be taken from time to time. Those below 30 years of age must undergo a medical check-up every year.
  • Correct sugar level – Before food – 70 to 10 mgm, and after food – 100 to 40 mgm.
  • Obesity must be kept under check.
  • Fat level must be controlled. Total fat should be less than 200. (Harmful) Bad fat content should be less than 35.
  • Diabetic should maintain sugar level under strict control.
  • Keep mental tension under check. Even though it cannot be completely removed, some practices like yoga, music, laughter therapy, being in the company of friends, etc can help reduce mental tension.
  • Daily exercises are highly recommended. In current days, the time spent by children on playing is far less that the time spent on watching TV. Parents should encourage children to play.
  • It is not healthy for children to be too chubby. They should do physical exercises at least for 30 minutes to 1 hour on a daily basis and should also do brisk walking exercise. Cycling, swimming, and jogging are also recommended.
