Introduction of Barcode Answer Sheet – To Avoid Abuse

Posted on: 26/Dec/2013 11:27:16 AM
A new barcode system was introduced for the 10th and 12th answer sheet, in order to control the manipulation either by the students and the teachers. The 12th exam is going to start on March 3rd and ends on 25th March and the same way the 10th exam starts on 26th March and ends on April 9th. Approximately 8.5 lakh students are going to take up the 12th exam and 11 lakh students will be taking up the 10th exam.

During these public exams various new rules including the answer sheet with the photo and secret barcode are introduced. The answer sheet should be in the form of a single bundle of paper. For S.S.L.C, the answer sheet bundle contains 30 sheets and for 12th standard, the bundle contains 40 sheets. The science group alone contains the 52 sheets per bundle.

Based on the average need of the students this count of paper is getting calculated. Because of this single bundle answer sheet, students would not be in need of additional sheets and they can save their time without standing and asking for extra sheets. This barcode system reduces the addition tensions of the valuation teachers.
