Vaikunta Ekadasi Festival celebration - Opening of Sorgavasal in Sri Ranganathaswamy temple in Srirangam!!

On 23rd December 2023, the sorga vassal or heaven doors would be opened in the Srirangam based highly popular Sri Ranganathaswamy temple. This would be the main event of the Vaikunda Ekadesi festival celebrations here.
It is well known to us that this Srirangam temple is known as Boologha Vaikundam and is the premier temple of 108 Vaishnava temples. On 12th December 2023, Vaikunta ekadasi festival began at this temple wit thirunendunthandagam. On 13th morning, pagal pathu urchavam or thirumozhi thirunaal began here. Every day, the lord Ranganathar in various headgears with ornaments would leave moolasthanam with alwars to the arjuna mandapam.
Yesterday, being the 9th day of pagal pathu festival, at 7am in Lord Ranganathar in muthu kondai head alangaram was present at the arjuna mandapam at the temple. Many devotees took part and had superb darshan of lord. Later, the perumal left arjuna mandapam at 97m and reached moolasthanam at 9pm.
Today, 22nd December, Perumal would appear wearing mohini attire. Tomorrow 23rd December would be the main event of opening of the heaven gates at this famous temple. It is worthy to mention that the utsavar perumal would come out from moolasthana at 3am in the morning in the lions carriage wearing rathina angi, pandian headgear or kondai and other special ornaments,
Information is that perumal would come to the third prakaram through nazhikettan gate and then to the paramapadhavasl area through durai pradhakshanam. At 4am in the morning, the opening ceremony of paramapada vasal would take place.
