It has been confirmed that the number of Omicron cases across TN is in single digits only till now. It is known to us that the Omicron infections have been spreading very fast across the globe now.
The health minister of TN Mr. M. Subramanian mentioned that out of a total of 4000 people tested for Covid19 infection just 6 people were positive. The minister was very busy inaugurating the neonatal intensive care unit or NICU and advanced speech therapy centre at the Meenakshi Mission Hospital in Thanjavur. It is learnt that all those who arrive in chennai, Madurai, Trichy and Coimbatore were made to undergo RT-PCR tests and 2 percent among them were made to undergo random tests.
There are Aam Aadmi Mohalla Clinics in new delhi and it is now brought out that similar 708 health centres would be opened for the public. The superb news is that the work on 500 such health centers have been completed already. By the month of February, these health centres would be opened and Thanjavur would have 12 such ones.
