Good news!! Not a single COVID case from 31 districts in TN!!

For the third successive day, the number of fresh or new Covid-19 has been on the decline in Tamil Nadu. Yesterday, not even a single Covid-19 case was reported from the 31 districts in TN.
It is true that Chennai has the highest TPR of 1 percent when compared to the TPR of the rest of TN of 0.2 percent. There were as many as 16 new Covid-19 cases in Chennai yesterday. More than 16000 samples are being tested every day. The number of active cases has been brought down in Chennai district due to the brisk recovery rate. On Sunday, the number of active cases in Chennai district was below 200.
As many as 359 persons have been undergoing treatment for Coronavirus infection now and just 17 of those needed hospitalisation. Point is that the remaining is having mild symptoms and are in home based quarantine. It is superb to mention that not a single person died due to Coronavirus infection yesterday. The total number of those who had died due to this infection remains at 38025.
Around 2 crores of people have not yet received vaccinations for Covid-19 in TN and this was according to the health minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. M Subramanian.
