Corona Vaccination for children commences today (28th April)!

The huge task of vaccinating the children in the age group 5-12 throughout the country is all set to commence today – Thursday, 28th April.
With the recent increasing tren of the coronavirus pandemic spread as a third wave throughout the country, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a review-discussion with the States Chief Ministers on Wednesday (Yesterday, 27th April).
Note that the the threat and risk regarding coronavirus is NOT YET completely gone! In fact, over the last 2 weeks, there is a trend of increasing infections of coronavirus in some states! As such, we, the citizens, need to be ultra-careful on this issue!
The corona vaccines act as the main shield to protect the public! So, all the eligible children will be given priority to get vaccinated! As such, it is essential to organise vaccination camps in all schools. Prime Minister Modi has shared the importance of creating awareness among the parents and children on this important issue!
In this scenario, with the Drugs Controller General of India (DCGI) having approved Hyderabad Bharath Biotech product of covaccine, it is all set for children of the age group 6-12 to be vaccinated throughout the country from today (Thursday, 28th April).
DCGI has given approval for administering Cobivax vaccine produced by Biological-E for children in the age group 5-12.
