Cooku with Comali Ashwin debut as Hero

Ashwin, who became famous with the popular TV show “Cooku with Comali”, will be making his debut in the lead role in a movie directed by Hariharan, an ad filmmaker turned feature film director.
Revealing details of the movie titled “Enna Solla Pogirai”, the director who has also made a web series titled “Ctrl Alt Del”, tells that the new movie is going to be a romantic comedy.
Not just this, Pugazh who is also famous from “Cooku with Comali” will also be playing an important role in the movie. “Enna Sola Pogirai” is produced by Trident Arts’ R Ravindran. The director is quick to share his excitement that the movie title was inspired by the super hit song from “Kandukondain Kandukondain”.
The music will be by Vivek-Mervin who composed the music for “Dharala Prabhu”, “Sulthan” to name a few. The director adds that the movie will be a youthful musical that has an urban backdrop and hence the shooting will take place in Chennai.
The director is looking for newcomers as the makers want a fresh pairing for this triangle love story. Durairaj is the editor and Richard M Nathan is handling the camera. Shooting for the movie will commence on July 19th.
