Admission of students for +1 and +2 classes: Announcement by the State Government!

Due to the raging 1st and resurgent waves of the coronavirus pandemic, the schools and most other academic institutions have remained closed for more than a year! As such, online classes were being conducted for the students.
In this situation, giving due consideration to the prevailing dangerous trend on the corona front, the State Government of Tamil Nadu had announced an ‘ALL PASS” without conducting any examinations. With the time passing, the NEXT ACADEMIC YEAR HAS ALREADY COMMENCED!
Amidst the given situation, with there being no signs of any abatement in the corona spread, it has been decided to continue with online classes!
In this situation, the State Government of Tamil; Nadu has announced that apart from the allowed seats, additional 10-15% seats will be given for admission to the +1 class IN ALL THE GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNMENT-AIDED SCHOOLS. If more applications are received for a preference for a particular group, examinations may be conducted at the individual school level. 50 questions will be asked on the given subject. Based on the marks obtained in this examination, seats can be allotted as per preference. The State Government of Tamil Nadu has also announced that A SIMILAR PROCEDURE WILL BE FOLLOWED FOR ADDITIONAL ADMISSIONS TO THE +2 CLASSES AS WELL
