Devotees of all age-groups permitted in Tirupathi Temple!

Permission has been given for all age-groups of devotees to have Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara at the famous Tirupathi temple.
During the lockdown period imposed as a preventive measure against the spread of the raging coronavirus, devotees were permitted with some restrictions as per guidelines. Especially, when it was confirmed that some of the priests and staff of the temple administration had been infected with coronavirus, a total lockdown was imposed in the temple. As such, the Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara was also cancelled.
Subsequently, the yearly grand event of Brahmotsavam, Navarathri Celebrations, etc., were performed and observed with severe restrictions - without the presence of devotees.
In this situation, the sacred occasion of Vaikunta Ekadasi is .scheduled to be celebrated for a period of 10 days from 25th December to 3rd January. An appeal was made on behalf of the devotees that all age groups including children and senior citizens must be permitted on this sacred occasion.
After considering this appeal, the temple administration has given permission that all age-groups can have Darshan of Lord Sri Venkateswara. A suggestion has been put up by the temple administration that senior citizens must be duly aware of their health condition before undertaking the visit.
