NO Quarantine for the business travellers to Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu government has been making efforts to boost the economy that has been down ever since the lockdown to contain the Coronavirus pandemic began. The TN government on Thursday permitted the business travellers visiting the state for a short time of 3days or 72 hours to be exempted from quarantine.
The GO stated that the business travellers representing various industries like hospitality, IT/ITeS, entertainment and legal could avail this facility.
It must be remembered that the TN state owned Elcot had approached the government with a proposal to permit the representatives of Ascentium Business Solutions Private Limited.
For facilitating the investments in the field of IT/ITeS and electronic hardware manufacturing, the representatives of the above said company has been engaged by Elcot for a time of 12 months. Elcot has requested the state to relax the norms as the representatives of the above said company wanted to visit TN from Karnataka and AP for a short stay in TN.
It must be taken into account that the state information technology department felt that the business travellers from various industries need to travel to TN. This was while recommending the proposal. Truth is the state information technology department had requested a general purpose approval for all categories of business travellers.
