Phase-2 trial completed, public can be given COVID vaccine

As per Dr. Jacob John, famous virologist, the phase-2 trials have been completed and the public could be given Covis-19 vaccine.
He explained how phase-1 was all about ensuring vaccine safety for the human beings and phase-2 was about both safety and development of immune response. Information is phase-3 has been undertaken to prevent commercial exploitation by the private companies. It is for this reason that both a vaccine and a placebo are given to the volunteers.
For the sake of developing antibodies and to save lives of the people, the vaccines that have finished phase-2 trials could be given to the people. Truth is the completion of this stage would take another 6 months of time.
