More than 1 lakh persons have recovered from COVID in the Chennai city

Today 15th August is Independence Day and it is an important day in the history of India. Chennai residents have now got something to be happy on this special day.
The total number of patients who have recovered from the Coronavirus infection in Chennai has now crossed 1lakhs. It must not be forgotten that ICMR has assured a vaccine for this infection on 15th August.
The data from GCC has revealed that the recovery rate in Chennai city is 88%. A total of 114,260 Coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Chennai and 100,643 persons have recovered successfully and been sent back to their homes. There are as many as11209 persons still undergoing treatment and 2408 persons have died due to this infection.
Information is as many as 1187 fresh Coronavirus cases have been reported on Friday, 14th August and 837 have recovered. Chennai city has got just 9.81 percent active cases.
