Central Government: No scope for reopening schools till December

The Secretary of the Central Ministry of Higher Education, Amit Khare has informed that there is no scope for reopening schools and colleges until the end of December!
The meeting of the Central Ministry of Education Parliamentary Council was conducted in Delhi. The Secretary of the Central Ministry of Higher Education, Amit Kare informed the above news during this meeting.
He further informed that the Final Examinations will be conducted as scheduled before the end of this year.
It is learnt that the central council was constrained to take the above decision as 416 Kendriya Vidyalaya are located in Containment Zones in the country. At the same time, it has also been announced that a Zero Academic Year will never be announced!
It is expected that until December, classes will be conducted through online, social radio, and television channel and a detailed announcement regarding this will be released in the next 15 days.
As regards the schools in the states, the officials of the central ministry of education informed that this will be left to the individual decision of the respective state governments when the academic year commences.
