Siddha treatment highly successful in the recovery of COVID patients in Chennai

Anything that produces high success always grabs the attention of many!!

This has come true now with Covid-19 patients recovering by the Siddha treatment.

The news that has come out is the traditional Siddha system of medicine has been successful in curing nearly 6000 Coronavirus patients in the dedicated facilities in the Chennai city. This was as per the official sources.

There are 11 Siddha Covid-19 Care Centres in Tamil Nadu and this includes two in Chennai city. Truth is Siddha based treatment has successfully cured as many as 5725 Covid-19 patients. This has been till 7th of August 2020.

As on 7th August 2020, Chennai based Siddha CCC facilities located at Jawahar Vidyalaya and at Dr Ambedkar Government Arts College in Vyasarpadi have treated 3200 patients. It is known that these 2 centres in Chennai treat asymptomatic patients and handle high case load. In Chennai based Siddha care centres as many as 434 patients have been undergoing treatment and in the 12 Siddha care centres in the districts of TN as many as 715 patients are in treatment.

As per the sources it is clear that after Chennai, Vellore based Siddha Care Centre has been treating 1258 patients. In recent times, 2 more Siddha Care Centres were started in places like Salem and Pudukottai. It is known that there are Siddha Care Centres in places like Tiruvannamalai, Tirupattur, Ranipet, Tenkas, Villupuram, Coimbatore etc.

It is important to note that earlier TN state government had ordered kabasura kudineer to be included in the integrated approach. In April 2020, CM of Tamil Nadu launched Arokiyam special programme with AYUSH intervention for Covid-19 infection. It included Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy in the battle against Coronavirus infection.

Important information is as on Sunday the state of TN cumulative tally of Coronavirus cases stood at 296,901.
