Chennai has the HIGHEST COVID recovery rate than rest of TN

It has been confirmed by the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. E. Palaniswami that the number of persons who have recovered from COVID infection is higher in Chennai than the rest of Tamil Nadu.
It must be noted that the CM was having discussions with the district collectors yesterday. He spoke about Chennai having the highest recovery rate in this meeting that took place by video conferencing.
The Chief Minister revealed that so far 166,956 persons have recovered from Coronavirus infection in TN and it is 73% of the total infection. In Chennai, as many as81530 persons have recovered and that is 84.5%.
On Thursday, CM would take part in a meeting with a 19 member medical expert team at Secretariat and a decision about the lockdown extension would be taken in this meeting.
Coronavirus infection situation in each and every district in TN has been reviewed by CM yesterday in the meeting with the district collectors. It is known that the sixth phase of lockdown would end on 31st July 2020.
In the meeting between the district collectors and chief minister of TN yesterday, various collectors briefed CM about Covid-19 facilities in their respective districts plus the funds needed to continue Covid-19 treatment in the districts of TN. Relaxations on public transport were also discussed at the meeting and CM received the opinion of the district collectors.
It was brought out by some sources from Secretariat that the buses would start functioning in districts other than Chennai. Information collected is the state of TN is the leader in the number of Coronavirus tests that are being carried out.
Truth is in TN Coronavirus infection tests were carried out on 24.7 lakhs people and every day 63,000 tests are being done. Finally, CM mentioned that as many as 2058 persons have lost their lives in their fight against Coronavirus in Chennai.
