49,310 Corona Infections on a Single Day in INDIA! 30,000 Deaths!

The raging coronavirus infection was confirmed on 49,310 persons on a single day yesterday (Thursday, 23rd July) throughout India!
With this, the number of persons with confirmed coronavirus infection in the country has reached 12,97,945.
The number of lives lost due to coronavirus infection also increases and is now 30,601.
The central Health Department of the government has released a notification regarding the spread of the raging coronavirus pandemic and the number of deaths due to the same. It mentions:
“As in the morning on Friday, 24th July, 49,310 new infections were confirmed in the country. During this period, for the 1st time in the country, 740 persons died on a single day due to the coronavirus infection. With this, the total number of lives lost in the country due to the coronavirus pandemic has increased to 30,601.”
4,40,135 infected patients are currently under treatment. The Central Department of Health has announced that 8,17,209 patients had recovered completely and returned home.
On the national level, the State of Maharashtra continues to lead the list of the number of persons affected with coronavirus infection. So far, 3,47,502 persons in the state of Maharashtra have been confirmed with the raging coronavirus infection. 12,854 persons have died.
In Tamil Nadu, the number of persons infected is 1,92,964 and in Delhi, it is 1,27,364.
As per the information released by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), as on 23rd July, 1,54,28,170 tests have been undertaken for confirming the coronavirus infection. Out of these, 3,52,801 tests were undertaken on a single day, yesterday (Thursday, 23rd July).
