Posted on: 23/Jul/2020 9:58:05 AM
The shocking piece of information is that in the last 10 days more than 1500 persons who have tested for Coronavirus infection at various labs in Chennai have gone untraceable.

Every day, 150 to 200 persons who test positive go untraced and this was mentioned by some officials belonging to GCC. These persons could create issues by transmitting the infection to others.

As per the data, out of 9940 samples received at the fever clinic run by the GCC private/government labs on Tuesday it was said that as many as 211 persons could not be traced due to incorrect address.

It must be taken into note that out of these 211 as many as 91 gave samples at the private hospitals and 93 persons at the fever clinics. As many as 148 persons could not be traced by GCC on Monday.

For sending the persons to mandatory home quarantine, GCC has been involved in the tracing of those who have given their samples for testing. If the samples turn negative, the persons would be released from the home based quarantine or else treatment would be continued for them. Tracing of all the persons who have given their samples for testing is very important.
