PMO official in city to inspect infrastructure in Ennore and Ponneri

Prime Minister’s Adviser T.K.A. Nair is in Chennai to address two issues. The first is the concerns expressed by the Japanese government about road connectivity between the Manali Industrial Estate and the Ennore Port. The concerns were voice to the Prime Minister’s Office after Japanese manufacturers based in the Industrial Estate spoke to their government.
The other is to inspect the road over bridge that is under construction at Atipattu near Ennore. This road is essential to ensure easy movement of goods by rail and road between Ponneri and Chennai. ‘The construction of the RoB would be taken up by the Railways. Mr. Nair would also review the North Chennai Thermal Power Station (NCTPS) Road and Tiruvottiyur-Ponneri-Panchetti Road, which is a part of EMRIP’, say state officials.
