E-pass is compulsory for traveling in the flights within TN

Government Order or GO has been issued by the Tamil Nadu state government. As per this GO, e-passes have been made mandatory for the domestic air passengers travelling to and within TN.
Mr. K. Shanmugham, chief secretary, expressed his thoughts and pointed out that e-passes are important and the passengers must get these e-passes before boarding the aircrafts. Fact is this rule doesn’t apply to those who come to TN from foreign countries.
Recently, the Centre gave permission to resume flight services is known. Later TN has issued SP or Standard Operating Procedure for the airports and air crafts to follow.
Quarantine is not compulsory for those passengers who undertake business trips and return inside 48 hours of time. This was mentioned in the SOP. It was clear from SOP that for other flight travelers inspite of testing negative for Corona virus must be home quarantined for a time of 7 days and they must self monitor their health for another 7 days.
It is worth mentioning that RT-PCR tests would be compulsory for those who reach TN from Delhi, Maharashtra and Gujarat etc. Important point is those international passengers coming to TN would have paid institutional quarantine for 7 days and this would be compulsory.
