Corona virus infection rate to decrease in Chennai, distribution of free face masks

The Chennai residents did not follow the instructions given by the government and this has led to more number of Corona virus cases in Chennai now. There would be distribution of free face masks to all the ration card holders for preventing the spread of the infection. The number of Corona virus cases would decrease in Chennai when the people follow the norms strictly. This was according to the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Mr. E. Palaniswami.
A review meeting took place to take stock of Corona virus outbreak in GCC. In this meeting the CM of TN and minister for health Mr. C. Vijayabhaskar shared their thoughts. The chief minister lamented about how Chennai in TN has got high population density and how the residents of Chennai did not follow the government instructions. He added that if they had followed the instructions then Chennai would not be having so many Covid-19 positive cases now.
Various safety measures has been taken by the government of TN and this has resulted in keeping the Corona virus infection under control in most parts of TN except Chennai and its neighbouring districts like Chengalpet, Kancheepuram, Tiruvallur etc.
The presence of cramped houses in Chennai has contributed huge number of positive cases in the slums in the Chennai city. Now, in TN, 13000 tests are being conducted every day and 4000 tests in Chennai city alone.
This has been responsible for more number of cases. Important information is TN has got the highest recovery rate and lowest death rate in India. Tamil Nadu has been testing more number of persons every day when compared to the neighbouring states like AP, Kerala and Telangana etc.
The chief minster threw light on how by doing more number of tests then infected persons would be identified easily and they could be treated.
