There could be a second wave of Corona infection due to influx of infected people

Deputy Director of ICMR-NIE, Prabhdeep Kaur yesterday revealed many things about Corona virus infection and it took many by surprise.
She explained about how the focus must be on few districts of TN and few zones of Chennai. For reducing the disease spread, factors like strategically focused testing plus others like tracing, isolation and quarantine would be important. She mentioned that careful management of mild Corona virus cases is important.
Point is mild or asymptomatic cases could either be quarantined at Covid-19 care centre or at homes. It must be taken into account that the close contacts tested negative must remain in quarantine for 14 days. She revealed that the state of TN does the highest number of tests per day due to ramping up of capacity plus contract tracing implemented well.
The Deputy Director later highlighted that those districts that are currently free from Corona virus cases could get second wave of cases due to influx of infected people from other areas.
