Case tracking and referral plan by GCC for Corona virus patients

To treat Covid-19 patients, GCC has now come out with case tracking and referral plan.
It must be taken into account that GCC has directed the field level officials to inspect the houses of asymptomatic patients for accessing the facilities needed for home isolation of the patients. According to the new plan devised by GCC, soon after the civic body officials had identified any patient without symptoms, then the civic body must take the patients for clinical assessment by the medical officers and if found normal, the patient would be sent to home isolation or to corona care centres.
It was later pointed out by an official that the houses of the patients must be assessed by the field officials. Only when the houses were considered fit by the officials, then the patients would be sent to their houses or else to Corona care centres.
Clinically significant asymptomatic patients would be sent to the hospitals by the officials. It is said that the high risk (those above 50 years and those with comorbid conditions) and symptomatic patients would be sent to the hospitals straightaway. There is a fear among the family members as the clinically normal patients would be sent for isolation at their homes.
