Government hospitals now full of Covid-19 patients in Chennai

Every day, the more number of persons test positive for Corona virus in Chennai. The beds meant for Corona virus patients at the government hospitals in Chennai are now full. This has made the field level officers of GCC to worry.
It is worth mentioning that the 3 major government hospitals in Chennai with Covid wards are Stanley Government Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital or RGGGH and Omandurar Government Multi-Speciality Hospital. These hospitals are now full of Covid-19 patients.
On Sunday, there were just few beds at KMCH and this was brought out by a field level officer attached to north Chennai region zone. This official just recently took the Corona virus patients to the above said 3 major hospitals in Chennai in ambulances and he was asked to take them to some other hospital. Point is as only KMCH had beds, ambulances across Chennai city brought positive persons here.
The patients at KMCH have been made to wait for long time due to the increase in the number of positive patients. The official later pointed out that before giving admission they were made to wait for several hours. He then revealed that the seniors did not help them by proper guidance.
