On Thursday, 580 new Corona virus cases reported in TN, 316 in Chennai

It has been revealed by a bulletin issued by the control room of Directorate of Public Health and Preventive Medicine that on Thursday, Tamil Nadu reported as many as 580 Corona virus positive cases and as many as 316 belonged to Chennai. With this, the total number of Corona virus positive cases in TN increased to 5409.
The total number of Covid-19 deaths in TN stood at 37 with the deaths of 56 year old woman and a 46 year old woman. Important point is both the above said persons who passed away had comorbities. There were as many as 63 news Corona virus positive cases in Tiruvallur, 45 new cases in Villupuram, 32 new cases in Cuddalore, 33 new cases in Perambalur and 24 new cases in Ariyalur.
As many as 22 of the total 37 districts belonging to TN reported new Corona virus cases and Koyambedu cluster has been responsible for these fresh cases.
